And installation is easy and can be done in a day. Thousands of people have these sheds, but are they worth it?
Who Is Shelterlogic?
Shelterlogic has been in the business of building portable sheds for decades. Their story begins in 1948 with a company called All-Luminum Product, Inc. It was founded by Bob and George Cohen.
From 1948 the company grew with many different options of sheds and storage solutions. In 1991 Shelterlogic was founded. Their main emphasis is being a global manufacturer of built-to-order shelters and storage solutions.
In 2015 it changed to Shelterlogic Corp. after acquiring Arrow Storage Products. The two companies combined and are distributors across Europe and North America.
The products can be built to order for retail, drop-shipping and private branding as needed.
What Is The Shelerlogic Shed Made Of?
AccelaFrame
The specialized frame on most sheds is called an AccelaFrame. This is a revolutionary frame that can be installed quickly. So it takes less time to build the shed. The ribs of the frame structure simply fold and unfold with a lever. The frame is designed to withstand the elements and when secured to the ground properly can be very sturdy.
The Fabric
Every shelterlogic shed comes with a durable triple-layer woven polyethylene fabric. These sheds are throughout North America and Europe in all kids of weather conditions. So, the fabric can hold up to the weather. In addition, the fabric is tear resistant and is UV treated. Also, there are fade blockers, anti-aging and anti-fungal and anti-yellowing agents. The fabric can handle the sun, snow, rain and much more.
Steel Stabilizers
The steel stabilizers are very sturdy and make your shelter logic shed that much more secure. And installation is easy with step by step construction of the frame. Simple nuts and bolts placed at the right intervals to secure the bars to each other. Once finalized the stabilizers secure the shed.
Cross Rail Connections
Cross rail connections are just another way of making the shed frame stable. So they are easy to install. Further, there are instructions helping you along the way. The cross rail design allows for a more secure foundation across the bottom of the shed.
The Ratchet
The ratchet is a secure way of tightening down the frame and fabric. Easy to install and also easy to take away when you want to take down the shed.
What Size Do You Need?
There are many different sizes that you can purchase depending on your needs. Each shed comes with the same installation instructions as that makes it simple for construction. The most common size purchased is the small to medium size shed. You can see a sample of these below.

What comes In The Package?
The shelterlogic shed in a box comes with everything you need. So you get everything from the specialized frame with nuts and bolts to the fabric for the cover. Check out below the installation manual so you can see all that is included.
In addition, there are accessories you can purchase as I recommend additional anchor storage for security. You can read my previous post on anchoring a shed here.
How Hard Is Installation?
The instructions are simple. So, the instructions give you the typical time it takes to install the shed. Further, it gives a recommendation of how many people needed to install the shed and what tools are needed. Further, keep in mind that the bigger the shed will need more people to install or build.
You will start with construction of the shed frame. This will require the screws and bolts holding the frame together unless your shed has the AccelaFrame. You will need a couple of people doing this together. Placing the frame tubes together and constructing them to bigger pieces. Once they are the right size, then you have to attach them together. However, your shed may have the AccelaFrame. If so, then it will open up to the right dimensions very easily without all of the nuts and bolts.
The frame is together and you need to make sure your foundation is stable. Further, I recommend you build the frame right where you want the shed. However, it can be portable so you can build it and then move it to the spot you want.
Once the frame is built then secure it to the ground and make sure you get the extra anchor package.
Finally, place the fabric on the frame and secure the fabric to the shed frame.
