Start With the Exact Model, Not Just the Brand
Keter sells outdoor storage products in many sizes and configurations. A useful comparison begins with the exact model number. Similar-looking sheds can have different foundations, door openings, tools, assembly times, load limits and warranty terms.
Before ordering, compare:
- Exterior dimensions and the required foundation footprint
- Interior dimensions and the clear door opening
- The size and weight of the mower, bicycles or equipment you plan to store
- Assembly tools, number of installers and estimated time listed for that model
- Anchoring instructions and any stated wind or snow-load information
- Warranty terms for your country and retailer
The Foundation Comes First
A resin shed still needs a flat, stable and properly sized base. Keter's assembly-service information says the foundation is not included and warns that assembly on grass voids the warranty. Follow the footprint in the exact model manual rather than relying on the shed's advertised nominal size.

Plan the Assembly Around the Manual
Do not assume every Keter shed is a quick snap-together project. The official Artisan 2.0 9x7 product page, for example, lists two people, an estimated five to six hours, a required foundation and a specific tool list. Other models can differ.
- Download the current manual and inventory the parts before assembly day.
- Finish and verify the level foundation first.
- Choose a calm, dry work period and have the required helpers and tools ready.
- Follow the manual's sequence; do not force panels or substitute fasteners.
- Square the structure before final tightening, then check the doors.
- Anchor the completed shed exactly as the model instructions and local conditions require.
Measure the Door Opening and Storage Layout
Floor area alone does not tell you whether equipment will fit. Measure the widest and tallest stored item, then compare those measurements with the published clear door opening. Allow room to turn equipment, reach frequently used tools and keep wet items away from walls.
Use freestanding shelves or only accessories and attachment methods approved for the model. Drilling or adding heavy wall loads without manufacturer guidance can damage panels or affect warranty coverage.
Ventilation and Moisture Control

Anchoring and Severe Weather
Anchoring is model- and site-specific. One current Keter Artisan manual strongly recommends securing the shed to the foundation, but the hardware and method depend on the base and local conditions. Cleaning, Inspection and Warranty Records
- Use the cleaning method permitted by the model manual.
- Keep roof surfaces, drainage paths and vents clear.
- Inspect the base, anchors, doors and fasteners after severe weather.

- Read the current written warranty; do not assume the same term applies to every product or region.
Which Keter Shed Is Right for You?
A Keter shed can be a good fit when you want a manufactured resin structure and are prepared to build the specified base, assemble it carefully and follow its anchoring instructions. It is a poor fit when the available footprint, door opening, load limits or local rules do not match your intended use.
